Paramedic Practitioner

My name is Lidia Griguoli and I am a Paramedic Practitioner. I work part time at Wells City Practice joining the clinical team in May 2017.

My main role is to work alongside the duty Doctor and hold clinics to see patients on the day who have urgent/same day health problems.  I also undertake home visits for patients who are housebound and too ill to attend the surgery. 

I have worked for the Ambulance Service for over 20 years and am experienced in dealing with a wide variety of emergency / urgent health conditions. 

I have now extended my knowledge and education and am able to see patients on the day with acute illness for example coughs, urine infections and tonsillitis. 

I still undertake frontline duties for the Ambulance Service and am the Responder Liaison Officer for the City of Wells Community Responder Scheme.
